The idea behind Europanto is not to combine elements of each language in Europe (that would be much too complicated), but to have a way to make up a language ad hoc, based on the languages in which the speakers are fluent. For instance, if I wish to talk to someone from Italy, we will use a "europanto" that combines only English and Italian (no need for other languages). Though I am far from fluent in Italian, I can probably make myself understood using the more commonly known words of English and those Italian words that I'm familiar with (and lots of hand gestures :) ). So there is no such thing as being "good" at europanto because it is not really a language - it's a way to "make" a language. Hope this helps,
