Maybe - to start a little bit of life in here:
"art in the net" is as the term says: offline art brought into the online world, meaning "deconstructed" into ones and zeros and reassembled on my screen;
whereas
"net art" could be "art WITH the net", interactive but anonymous.
In my personal opinion "net art" does not exist yet. And if it should already exist somehow it must be something like "cave paintings" we "made to art", while at the time it was just a means of communication.
